As I crossed this park, a group of 5 homeless teased me in order I take a picture of one of them (something you don't have to ask me twice ;) I chose this man then another guy joined him and they both lied on the grass and posed.
I asked them to rather stand up & move. That's when this man instantaneously answered me (from down the grass) :
- Hey miss, aren't you forgetting that we're totally d-d-drunk ??
I burst into laughter (we all did) & shook his hand.

Alors que je traversais ce parc, un groupe de 5 sdf m'a taquinée pour que je prenne l'un d'eux en photo (pas besoin de me le dire deux fois ;) J'ai choisi cet homme puis un autre l'a rejoint et ils se sont allongés dans l'herbe pour poser.
Je leur ai demandé de plutôt se lever & bouger. C'est alors que cet homme m'a répondu du tac au tac, depuis la pelouse :
- Hé oh, faudrait quand même pas oublier qu'on est bourrés !
J'ai éclaté de rire (eux aussi) avant de lui serrer la main.
Gros merci pour cet instant ensoleillé, cher P******

Utterly unexpected portraiture of a homeless!!! So vivid, brilliant, joyous... full of life!!! Such a distinct character especially when reading along with your spirited and pleasurable commentary! While I was imagining how these people are concerned with everything except a promising "career" and that their occupation isn't work but passing time in an amusing manner, that mysterious wink of your friend captivated me... suddenly I felt as if I was watching a great magic show; he's actually a magician (of life) who's turned despair into victory - through triumphing in spirit!!! k@, thanks for this magical moment and such a wonderful tale!:-)

Perhaps the saddest thing in the world is a sad drunk, but truly, the happiest thing in the world HAS to be a HAPPY drunk!!...With your sense of timing, humour, kindness, and heart, who would not be happy when facing the "Camera of Karine" ? This fellow has just an infectuous smile and face..I love it. The setting is open and un-intimidating (if that is a proper phrase) and the bright, sunny atmosphere just adds more to the scene. But the truly top award really belongs to your wonderful narrative. It is always so wonderful to read your words because I can just feel them coming throough! They come from your heart, which is as big as all of Paris!! I love this one K@! Just Wonderful,:-)

Il semble plutôt bourré de bonne humeur et tu y es pour quelque chose. Un partage ensoleillé qui avec ton titre et ton récit prend une tout autre dimension… J’admire ce contact que tu as avec les gens dans leur réalité pas vraiment rose. Et j’aime cette lumière ambiante dans l’image, le geste, le sourire et ce regard clair où l’on sent bien la chaleur du courant qui passe, et qu’il s’appelle sympathie, confiance, humanité... c’est lui le secret d'un portrait réussi ! Such a sunny b&w - I can almost picture the scene in color! You have captured his inner happiness (or liquid happiness). I thought I was brave, but I don't know if I would have stopped for 5 homeless men - maybe the french homeless are more cheerful and friendly and less dirty and crazy like here in NYC...

Je rappliquais dans le secteur par courtoisie d'abord : tu avais laissé un commentaire sur mon blog et je venais te renvoyer l'ascenseur. Et là, c'est la claque. Et je m'en veux presque de n'avoir pas dénicher tout seul, comme un grand, tes superbes images. J'aime beaucoup aussi la manière sobre et dynamique dont tu introduis l'image par le texte. Du coup, je vais demeurer un brin dans la zone et feuilleter tranquillement les pages de ce blog.

quelle communication tu as! moi par timidité et manque de confiance j'aurai fait un détour et surtout car les sdf sont souvent accompagnés de chiens sans collier, bien qu'ils aient une autorité sur, je crains toujours qu'ils attaquent tomi! :))

Entre les averses de la vie, quel beau titre pour accompagner cet optimiste, pour qui le rire et le contact doivent être de vrais médocs contre la dure réalité du quotidien. Tu l'as postée sans recadrage et c'est pas plus mal. Je le préfère dans son contexte. Biz à toi
