@Marcah: Actually, this isn't Europe but our Far East. Armenia is such a little country dangerously located between Middle-East, Asia and Russia... You're right : the architecture is stunning - and the architect's name, an Armenian, is Momik (love that name :) See U*

belle architecture ! les monastères sont toujours perchés dans des lieux incroyables et beaux ! un petit bémol photographique si tu permets, ça penche un chouilla et le ciel surex, même si c'est un effet voulu , chui pas fan :o)

Such an interesting Monastery, set into an amazing landscape, the name Momik rings a bell, was he not also a sculpture who did a lot of the Etching crosses into stone, I forget what they were called

@JJ: Bravo ! You're perfectly right : Momik sculpted "khatchkars" too (armenian tombstones) ... This monastery is his last work (by the way, he's buried over there). See ya tomorrow*

Génial ce monastère dans ce lieu, les lignes en contradictions (rectilignes/courbes anarchiques) m'interpellent. Et bien sûr, par dessus-tout tu as transformé le cramage en un élément essentiel de ta photo, l'aveuglement du divin (bon, pour moi, l'aveuglement de la religion, stop on tape pas ...)
